The next time you pack your bags and are off for a vacation you don’t have to worry about the extra baggage of the weight you’ll be putting on during your holiday. Because we bring you a plan of action that’ll keep you fit.
1. MAKE A WORKOUT PLAN
Whether you’re off for a business meeting over the weekend or a week-long leisure trip, you must take into account the place you’re going to be at and the possibilities
that it offers or doesn’t offer. Some places will have local markets for you to pick up veggies and fruits from, while others will won’t have anything besides room service.

4. SKIP THE ALCOHOL
As tempting as it is, it’s best to keep alcohol at bay while travelling. And even if you want to enjoy the occasional drink, be smart about it. Keep yourself hydrated throughout the night.
5. DON’T LET YOUR BODY GET STIFF
Make sure that you rotate your toes while on long flights and do stretches etc. to keep your body from getting stiff. Enjoy hot water showers whenever possible.
6. INDULGE IN BODY WORKOUT
You could do an intense body workout when you aren’t too sure of the gym or outdoor facilities.
- Squats: 12-15 reps
- Push-up: 10-12 reps (modify to incline pushups to make it easier and decline to
make it harder)
- Reverse Lunge-: 10-12 per side
- Plank with side-rotation: 6-8 per side
7. FOLLOW A HEALTHY SLEEP CYCLE
Try not staying up too late and give yourself enough time to recover after a heavy day of sightseeing, activities or meetings.
8. KEEP YOURSELF HYDERATED
Make sure that you are having water at regular intervals and don’t skip having water because that’ll affect your health.
